Emergency crews responded to a serious collision on Highway 75 south of Marchand Road just before 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Investigators say that it appears a semi-truck was turning right into the northbound lanes of Highway 75 from Marchand Road when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

The 71 year old male driver of the pickup from Niverville was airlifted by STARS air ambulance to hospital in Winnipeg. He is now in stable condition.

Police say that poor roads and low visibility are believed to be factors in the collision.
RCMP continue to investigate.
