A 67-year-old male was hit with a liquor bottle after he tried to intervene during a theft at the Fort Richmond Liquor Mart.
Police were called to the store just before 11:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Although both the victim and suspect had left the store before officers arrived police say they spoke to the victim who told them he had lost consciousness briefly after being struck. The man suffered minor injuries but declined medical assistance.
The investigation continues.
