RCMP closed a section of the Perimeter Highway after a semi-truck flipped onto its side Thursday morning, May 9, 2019.
Police say that the rollover occurred on the westbound lanes as the truck approached the Pembina Highway overpass.
Traffic is being detoured onto northbound Pembina Highway as crews work to right the truck and trailer.
There are no reports of injuries and the cause of the rollover is not known at this time.
Police say that they expect that section of the Perimeter Highway to remain closed for several hours.
