A collision between a car and a semi-truck closed both lanes of westbound Perimeter Highway for several hours on Friday March 15, 2019.
The collision happened just after 9:00 am between Pembina Highway and Waverley Street. The sedan suffered significant damage during the collision.
RCMP say the 37-year-old driver of the car died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The 34-year-old male driver of the semi was not injured.

It is not known if road conditions played a part in the collision .
