Winnipeg Police Service have charged the three teens involved in the shooting of a16-year-old male at the Red River Ex on Monday, June 20, 2022, with a second shooting that happened during the incident.
Police say that an 11-year-old boy was nearby when the shots were fired and was hit by a round in his lower body. The boy’s mother got her son to safety and took him to hospital.
Medical staff treated the boy for a gunshot wound and notified police.
The three accused are facing an additional charge of Aggravated Assault for the second injuries caused to the youth.
