Winnipeg Police are looking for a second suspect in the killing of 26-year-old Heather Marie Cheyenne Beardy in a Furby Street apartment on February 2, 2022.
Police were called to the residence around 1:10 pm and found Beardy deceased.
Homicide investigators worked the case and arrested a 27-year-old male on February 28. Amos Joe Kematch was charged for his alleged involvement with second degree murder.
A second suspect, 34-year-old Leah Carol Clifton, was identified and is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second degree murder.
She is described as a Caucasian female, standing 5’6″ tall and weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds. She has a medium build. Clifton has a tattoo with the words RIP DEAN on the right side of her neck.
Police say that Clifton should not be approached. If you know where she is call 911. Anyone with information that can help investigators is asked to call (204) 986-6508 or Crimes Stoppers at (204) 786-8477.
