Police in Waterloo, Ontario capture suspect
As News 4 told you in November, 2016 both the RCMP and Winnipeg Police responded to two separate shooting incidents in and around Winnipeg.
In the 400 block of Prichard Avenue Benjamin Franklin Traverse was shot and later died.

The suspects in the shooting soon after robbed two people and then kidnapped them and drove them to East St. Paul. Both victims were taken out of the car and shot before the suspects fled.

On January 6, 2017 after a lengthy investigation police, including tactical support team members located and arrested 26 year old James Andrew Jewel. He was charged with attempted murder x2, kidnapping x2, robbery with a firearm x 2 and robbery.

Earlier today, June 16, 2017, Officers with the Waterloo Police Service in southern Ontario executed a Canada wide warrant that had been issued in December 2016 after locating Michael Taylor Fless.
Fless was placed in custody and charged with Second Degree Murder, Attempt Murder x 2, Kidnapping X2, Robbery using a Firearm X2 and Fail to Comply with Probation.
