Winnipeg police have arrested a second suspect in connection to the death of 33-year-old Adam Albert LaForrest. on June 16, 2021

38-year-old Carla Bridgette Duck was arrested at the scene and charged with Manslaughter after she got into a physical altercation with LaForrest. During the altercation, a male was passing the incident at Main Street and Durrerin Avenue when he stopped his vehicle and also allegedly assaulted LaForrest. The male then got back into the vehicle and drove away.

Investigators identified 24-year-old Tre Daniel Pelletier-Monkman as the male suspect and placed him under arrest on June 18, 2021.

Pelletier-Monkman has been charged with Second Degree Murder. He was detained in custody.
