Winnipeg Police homicide detectives have arrested a second suspect in January 2019, murder of 31-year-old Dexter Cortavista Dejarisco.
Dejarisco was found suffering from a serious gunshot wound to the upper body on January 7, 2019, in the 500 block of Burrows Avenue. He died from his injuries in hospital on January 15, 2019.
Police arrested the first suspect at the scene of the shooting. 34-year-old Benny Lance Hansen was charged with a number of offences including Second Degree Murder.

As the investigation continued investigators identified a second suspect who they arrested on August 20, 2020.
24-year-old Brennan Eugene Robert Bercier from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Bercier was detained in custody.
Police say that no further arrests are expected at this time.
