Suspects in November 2016 serious assault case charged
On November 13, 2016 a 29 year old man was found in the 300 block Princess Street after emergency crews responded to the report of an injured male. When they arrived they found the victim had serious injuries to his upper body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition. He has since been released from hospital.

Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit of the Winnipeg Police Service identified two suspects and have now arrested and charged them both for their alleged involvement.
On March 15, 2017 31 year old Harriet Jane Pascal was arrested and charged with assault and fail to comply with probation. On March 23, 2017 Police caught up with Michael James MacDonald, 31. He has been charged with attempt to commit murder and assault.
Both accused were detained in custody.
