RCMP bust second suspect in Powerview, Manitoba
The second man wanted in the October 30, 2016 shooting at the Health Sciences Centre Starbucks location was arrested by RCMP in Powerview. 25 year old Ryan John Monias was already in custody on an unrelated matter when RCMP became aware of the Winnipeg Police warrant for the shooting. Monias was turned over to Winnipeg Police Service on Friday February 17, 2017.

The incident happened last October when two men confronted a 32 year old man in Starbucks. One of the men pulled a gun an began to fire in the direction of the victim. No one was injured in the shooting but HSC was locked down and ambulances diverted while police investigated.
Police caught the first suspect in November of 2016. Royce Anthony Boyle was captured eleven days after the incident in Winnipeg.
Both men have been charged with a number of gun related offences.
