As of Tuesday, June 1, 2021, people who received their first dose of COVID-19 on or before April 13 will be able to book their second dose appointments according to the province of Manitoba.
Everyone who received a first dose of AstraZeneca/Covishield is now eligible to receive their second dose of either Pfizer or Moderna as long as they meet the provincial eligibility criteria for their second dose.
All Indigenous people and individuals with specific health conditions are also eligible to book their second dose as long as they meet the minimum time interval between doses.
The province noted that the minimum time interval between doses for the AstraZeneca vaccine is 28 days.
