Second degree murder charges laid in Darcy Rose killing

Winnipeg Police have charged a 30-year-old male in connection to the killing of 37-year-old Darcy Leslie Rose.

Rose had been stabbed in the early morning hours of October 23, 2019, in the 300 block of Talbot Avenue. He died in hospital.

Investigators identified a suspect in the case and on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, placed him under arrest. At the time of the arrest, the suspect was in custody at Stony Mountain Institution on an unrelated matter.

Michael Joseph Thomas Fox has been formally charged with Secon Degree Murder.

He remains in custody.
