Search warrant leads to three arrests and drug seizure

Three people are facing charges after members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, along with Tactical Support Team members executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Collegiate Street.

Officers seized 51 grams of Cocaine, 5 grams of methamphetamine, score sheets. a digital scale, 40 shotgun shells along with other ammunition.

36-year-old Trevor Courtney Roesler of Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Traffic in Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine, Possession of Firearm, two counts of Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order and four counts Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order.

Laura Jeanne Powell, 26 of Winnipeg has been charged for her alleged involvement with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine, Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine  and eight counts of Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order.

Powell and Roesler were both detained in custody

Police also arrested and charged a 21-year-old male for his alleged involvement with Possession of Scheduled Substance –Methamphetamine, Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

The 21-year-old was released on an appearance notice as mandated by the Criminal Code of Canada.
