Search of Maplewood Avenue home leads to drugs and firearm charges

Winnipeg Police arrested four people in connection to drugs and firearm investigation on Maplewood Avenue on February 6, 2024.

According to police officers executed a search warrant in the 200 block and took the suspects into custody. During the search police found the following items:

  • SKS-15 Kodiak Rifle & ammunition
  • 93 grams of cocaine (estimated street value $9,300)
  • 29 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value $1,450)
  • $13,000 Canadian currency
  • drug packaging materials

Three of the suspects, a 45-year-old man, a 36-year-old female and a 34-year-old female, each face multiple drug and firearm-related charges. The 36-year-old female also faces mutiple charges for fail to comply with condition of release order and fail to comply with condition of undertaking.

A 45-year-old female was charged with Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regs.

The 45-year-old male was detaind in custody. All three females were released on undertakings.
