It happened around 3:40 pm near the intersection of Logan Avenue and Stanley Street.
The bus driver and the children on the bus were able to get off the bus on their own as Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service members arrived on scene. They were ushered to the nearby Salvation Army where they were assessed by paramedics.
No one was injured in the collision.
Logan is expected to remain closed from Isabel to Princess Streets for several hours as officers investigate.
