Emergency crews responded to a Salter Street fire just after midnight on Monday, September 27 2021, after being alerted to the blaze by Air-1, the Winnipeg Police Service helicopter.
Firefighters found several vehicles on fire as well as a commercial building when they arrived. Crews put out the vehicle fires and launched an offensive attack on the structure fire. The fire was declared under control ay 1:31 am.
No one was found inside the building and no injuries were reported in the fire.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
