Their Royal Highnesses, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, will visit Manitoba on June 22.
Prince Edward and his wife Sophie will tour the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada (RAMWC), have a private meeting with the lieutenant-governor and the premier, and participate in two individual functions during their brief visit to the province.
The earl will participate in a ceremony at the RAMWC to honour 50 young Manitobans who have achieved their gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Meanwhile, the countess will visit the Deer Lodge Centre, which is currently celebrating its 100th year of service to veterans and the people of Manitoba.
The public is invited to welcome the countess on the grounds of the Deer Lodge Centre at 1:15 p.m., when she, accompanied by the premier, will visit with veterans, residents and staff.
