Winnipeg has released the proposed design for the widening of Kenaston Boulevard (Route 90) between Taylor Avenue and Ness Avenue.
The design incorporates discussions with the public and Project Advisory Committee as well as a review of an online survey that had more than 1800 responses during phase one consultations held earlier this year. You can read the Phase one report by clicking on the link below.

The widening of Route 90 will have three lanes in each direction and will require expansion to the southbound side of the St. James bridge to accommodate traffic flow.

With a functional design in place, the city is moving onto phase two of public consultation to refine the design.
Once again the city is asking Winnipeggers to participate in an online survey between now and the end of July
The project is also hosting two “pop-ups” at the Outlet Collection Winnipeg Mall on Sterling Lyon Parkway just west of Route 90. The first is on June 20, 2018, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm and the second is June 28, 2018, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
