Firefighters were called to a two-storey home on Ross Avenue just after 11:10 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023, for the report of a fire.
When crews arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the building. Crews launched an attack and the fire was declared under control within 30 minutes.
People inside the home were able to get out before emergency crews arrived. No injuries were reported.
The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team helped four people find temporary housing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
