Just after 11:15 pm on Friday night, October 27, 2017, emergency crews responded to the report of a fire in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue.
A street supervisor with the Winnipeg Police Service was the first on scene and he entered the structure to find the top floors of the multi-unit building on fire.

The officer was able to help evacuate residents.
Three men sustained injuries while trying to escape the blaze and were taken to hospital in stable condition.
Police say that an adult male in his 40s was found dead inside the rooming house but they are not looking for suspects in relation to the incident.
