Winnipeg police are investigating a robbery that took place at a business in the 600 block of Notre Dame Avenue on January 22, 2025.
According to police, a male suspect entered the store at around 5:13 p.m. and concealed several items in a backpack. When confronted by a loss prevention officer and a security guard, the suspect produced a knife and lunged at them. The victims were not injured and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’8” with a slim build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing black-framed glasses, a black and white flat brim hat, a black parka, blue jeans, black and red runners, a black hoodie, and a grey backpack.
Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
