Winnipeg Police are looking for two male suspects after they stole items from a business and seriously assaulted a 19-year-old female clerk.
Just before 9:30 pm on Monday, November 5, 2018, the suspects took several items from the store without paying. The female clerk took out her phone and took a picture of the vehicle license plate the suspects were getting into. The suspects noticed and returned to the store where they beat the female to the point that she became unconscious. They then stole the woman’s phone and left the store.
The victim was treated in hospital.
The suspects are described as Indigenous between 25-35 years old and standing about 6 feet tall. They had average builds and short hair.
Police say the vehicle the pair made their getaway in was a newer, white SUV.
The investigation is continuing.
