As News 4 previously told you, in early January a 63-year-old man was assaulted in what was described by police as a road rage incident.
It happened January 7, 2018, just after 11:30 pm. The male victim had just left a performance at the Centennial Concert Hall and was getting into the back seat of an SUV when the driver in a Mercedes Benz, who was behind the SUV jumped out and punched the victim in the upper body.
The assault caused serious enough injuries that the victim was taken to hospital by a family member, treated and is now awaiting surgery.
Police continued to investigate and were able to identify a suspect.
