Winnipeg Police say that a man was shot during a road rage incident near Kingsbury Avenue and McPhillips Street Saturday evening, May 4, 2019.
Two men had been driving in the area when they got involved in an incident with three men in another vehicle. Both vehicles pulled into a nearby parking lot where an argument ensued.
Investigators say that during the argument one of the men with the group of three men was shot. The two men who had been in the other vehicle fled the area.
The injured man was taken to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

Christopher Junior Capitly, 19 from Winnipeg is facing charges for his alleged involvement of:
- Aggravated Assault- Assault with a Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon- Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Transports Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner
Samtra Samtra, 19 from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Discharge a Restricted Firearm or a Prohibited Firearm with Intent
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Aggravated Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon- Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Transports Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner
Both men were detained in custody.
