The City of Winnipeg announced on Friday, June 25 that two roadways will be closed over the next several days for crane and construction work.

Portage Avenue East

The westbound lanes of Portage Avenue East will be closed from Westbrook Street to Main Street on Sunday June 28, 2020 for crane work.

Pedestrian access will be maintained. Vehicles must find an alternate route.

The road closure begins at 6:00 am and will continue until 6:00 pm.

Taylor Avenue

Taylor Avenue from Nathaniel Street to Harrow Street will be intermittently closed from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am daily beginning June 26th and continuing until July 1st for sewer work.
