It was a good run! 72 days, 10 kilometres of river trails and over 600,000 visits.
The Red River and Assiniboine trails are officially closed for the season.
That's a wrap on the Red River Mutual Trail for 2018. ✌️⛸️
It was the longest ever at 10k & for the longest ever at 72 days of skating, walking, running, cycling, and occasionally slipping. 💪

Above zero temperatures have softened the ice making it dangerous. Even though the trails are still in place using them is no longer recommended say officials at the forks. The trails are no longer being maintained.
