Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to a structure fire just after 3:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. in the River Heights neighbourhood.
When firefighters arrived to the scene in the 800 block of Beaverbrook Street they encountered smoke and flames coming from a detached garage.
An offensive attack was launched as the residents watched crews extinguish the blaze. The fire was declared under control in about 20 minutes.
The contents of the garage, including an SUV, suffered damage from the flames, smoke and water.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
