RCMP is investigating a fatal collision between a vehicle and a train on Road 33 North At Twin River Road in the RM of La Broquerie.
Police say the collision happened around 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, 2023. The investigation indicates that the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Rod 33 North when it hit the northbound train.
The 42-year-old male driver and sole occupant from Richer was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe that at the time of the collision the road was slippery and it played a factor in the accident.
