Residential parking ban in effect Thursday

The City of Winnipeg will begin plowing residential streets and has implemented a Residential Parking Ban effective 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

Vehicles parked in areas that are scheduled to be cleared need to be moved off the street or to areas that are not scheduled to be cleared or have previously been cleared.

The road clearing schedule is as follows:

Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 – D, I, O, S, U, V

Friday, December 31, 2021 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 – E, G, J, L, P, R

Friday, December 31, 2021 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2022 – B, F, H, K, M, N, Q, T

Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sat, January 1,– A

Sat, January 1, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Sun, January 2, 2022 – C

Residents can view the progress of our snow clearing operations by consulting our Snow Clearing Status Map.

Vehicles parked in violation of the parking ban could receive a $200 ticket and may be towed to a nearby street that has already been cleared.

As of Wednesday, December 29, 2021 the Extended Snow Route Parking Ban has ended. The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban is still in effect which restricts parking on all snow routes between 2:00 am and 7:00 am daily.
