Reservations for provincial park camping begins April 5

Manitoba campgrounds, cabins and group-use areas will begin taking reservations beginning on April 5, 2021.

The province expects high demand on both the online and call centre reservation system and has staggered the booking dates to make it easier.

On April 5 bookings can be made for the Birds Hill Provincial Park campground.

On April 7 the reservation system opens up for booking sites at Winnipeg Beach, Betula Lake, Big Whiteshell, Brereton Lake, Caddy Lake, Falcon Beach, Falcon Lakeshore, Nutimik Lake, Opapiskaw, Otter Falls, West Hawk Lake and White Lake campgrounds.

On April 12 campsites can be booked in all other provincial campgrounds.

Reservations can be made online at http://prs.gov.mb.ca or by calling (204) 948-3333 (in Winnipeg) and 1 888-482-2267 (toll-free). The website and phone lines will be available as of 7:00 am.

Public health orders in force on the dates that are booked may limit the number of people allowed to gather. Currently there is a ban on travel north of the 53rd parallel and campers should confirm the ban is lifted prior to travelling to sites booked north of Lake Winnipeg.
