Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service is investigating the cause of a fire in a two-storey apartment building in the 300 block of Redwood Avenue.
Around 4:10 am on Friday, January 22, 2021 firefighters were called to the structure and encountered smoke as they arrived. An offensive attack was launched.
The fire was declared under control at 4:32 am. The fire was contained to the suite it had started in.
Residents of the building were able to return to their suites once the fire was out.
No injuries were reported.
