Reduced speed school zones are back in force as of September 1, 2023 , across Winnipeg.

Speeds are reduced to 30 km/h between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm Monday to Friday until July 1.

School zones with reduced speeds are posted but drivers should always use caution around schools and always follow the directions of school crossing guards and student patrols.

Drivers are reminded to drive within the limit or face potential heavy fines.

School zones are monitored by photo radar units and police.
