Manitoba RCMP has decided to close all major highways in Southern Manitoba in anticipation of a major spring snowstorm.
According to a release from the mounties on Tuesday evening “Manitoba RCMP has decided to close all major highways in southern Manitoba around midnight tonight or when it begins to snow.”
Police advise that travel is strongly discouraged and alternate plans should be arranged. They also noted that if you decide to travel first responders may not be able to get to you if you become stranded or need help.
