RCMP have released new photos of the Texas murder suspect who illegally crossed the border into Manitoba in late June.
Derek Whisenand crossed the border near Haskett, Manitoba with his dog and may be in Winnipeg or Eastern Canada.
Whisenand is 6 feet tall, 230 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen with a black goatee.
RCMP warn that Whisenand is to be considered armed and dangerous. He should not be approached.
“We would like to thank the public for the numerous tips that have been received so far” said Cpl. Julie Courchaine of the Manitoba RCMP. “We hope that these new photos will help generate additional information that will lead to his arrest.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the RCMP Integrated Border Enforcement Unit at 204-324-9177.
