RCMP in Portage la Prairie executed a search warrant in the community as part of an investigation on March 5, 2023.
Officers from the detachment along with members of the Emergency Response Team searched the home and found about 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 28 grams of cocaine, prescription pills, Canadian currency and other drug paraphernalia.
Four women, aged 26, 31,35 and 48 and a 52-year-old man were arrested and face two counts each of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking for their alleged involvement. The 26-year-old female was also charged with Fail to Comply.
