RCMP are investigating a possible drowning at a property along the Winnipeg River in the RM of Lac du Bonnet.
Police say that a 47-year-old male was working on a boat at his dock on July 21, 2022. Shortly afterwards the boat was seen floating down the river with no one onboard. The male could not be found.
RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team search the river but were not able to located the missing male. Police are continuing to search the river on Friday, July 22 as the investigation continues.
