RCMP are searching for two inmates from The Pas Correctional Centre after three inmates escaped custody around 6:40 pm on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Police say that a number of extra resources have been deployed, including Police Dog Services, to help in the search.
Minutes after 8:00 pm one of the escapees was recaptured.
The two other inmates are still at large and police are asking for help in locating them.
19-year-old Xander William Tardiff stands 5’11” and weighs 180 lbs. 21-year-old Kelly John Castel is 5’9″ and weighs 135 lbs.
Both men have a history of violence and should not be approached.
