RCMP search for man wanted in Ebb and Flow First Nation shooting

24-year-old Trystan McAuley from Ebb and Flow First Nation is wanted by police for his alleged involvement in the shooting of a 34-year-old man in the community.

RCMP say the shooting happened around 12:20 am on Sunday, February 26, 2023. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

McAuley was identified by officers and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

McAuley is wanted for nine offences including Aggravated Assault, Discharge Firearm with Intent, Assault with a Weapon and Pointing a Firearm.

RCMP warn that he is considered armed and dangerous and must not be approached. McAuley stands about 6’0″ and weighs 275 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Police believe he may be in the Brandon area or near O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation (Crane River).
