RCMP have arrested a 21-year-old male after he allegedly locked four people inside a shed then bear sprayed through a window.
It happened on Sunday September 20, 2020, around 7:30 am at a residence in Norway House.
As officers arrived they heard the victims shouting calls for help. Officers were led to the shed where they forced the door open freeing three women aged 24,28 and 35. A 49-year-old male was also rescued. They were all treated at the scene.
Police say the victims were already in the shed when the suspect locked them inside and and attacked them with the spray.
21-year-old Isaiah Cromarty from Norway House was arrested at the scene and is facing multiple charges for his alleged involvement including four counts of Assault with a Weapon, four counts of Forcible Confinement, four counts of administering a Noxious Substance, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Weapons Possession Contrary to an Order.
He was detained in custody.
