RCMP release description of the vehicle in Gretna hit and run

On Friday, October 9, 2020, RCMP released the description of the vehicle involved in a hit and run near Gretna.

On September 30, 2020, a 16-year-old female had gone out for a run in the evening. When she didn’t return home her friends began to search for her. The victim was located on Pieper Avenue.

Police said at the time it was evident that the girl had been struck by a vehicle.

As the investigation unfolds police have released the description of the vehicle involved

Investigators are looking for a silver crossover style SUV or minivan. The vehicle will have visible damage on the passenger side front bumper and possibly along the passenger side from where the vehicle struck the victim. The damage could be as minor as scraped paint, or there could be more significant damage.
