RCMP raid Winnipeg home and find 80K in stolen tools

A 30-year-old Winnipeg man is facing multiple charges of Possession of Stolen Property after his home was raided by RCMP as part of an investigation into a theft from a RM of West St. Paul construction site.

Police say that when they executed a search warrant on a Winnipeg Property they found a stolen enclosed trailer that contained nearly $80,000.00 worth of tools. Officers believe the tools had been taken from multiple sites.

The accused was released and will face the charges in court on May 10, 2022.

Police are asking anyone who believes their tools may be part of the recovered property to call (240) 667-6519.

Police continue to investigate.
