Powerview RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in in the community on Friday evening, June 19, 2020.

Police took five people into custody a 52-year-old male and a 25-year-old male both from Sagkeeng First Nation, a 38-year-old male from Little Black River First Nation, a 35-year-old female from the RM of Alexander and a 29-year-old female from Powerview-Pine Falls.

Officers seized about 14 grams of methamphetamine, Canadian currency, drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles

All five suspects will be facing charges for their alleged involvement including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

RCMP continue to investigate.
