RCMP has arrested two Winnipeg men in connection to the seizure of a large quantity of plants and dried cannabis.
On Thursday, March 11, 2021, officers raided a home in the RM of Tache and seized about 500 cannabis plants in various states of growth as well as more than 84 kilograms of dried cannabis.
Two males aged 32 and 34 were arrested at the home and face a number of charges for their alleged involvement including Possessing Illicit Cannabis, Possess Cannabis for Purpose of Selling, Cultivate Cannabis plants and Cultivating more than 4 Cannabis Plants.
Both men were released and are scheduled to appear in Steinbach court on May 27, 2021.
RCMP continue to investigate.
