Melita RCMP, members of the West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, the National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services raided a home in the RM of Brenda-Wasada on Wednesday October 14, 2020.

Police seized a number of items from the home including a sawed-off shotgun, several prohibited weapons, methamphetamine, ecstasy and drug related paraphernalia. A 27-year-old male was arrested in connection to the raid.

Regan Breemersch, from the RM of Brenda-Waskada was charged for his alleged involvement with five counts of weapons related offences, Trafficking of a Controlled Substance and Failing to Comply with a Release Order.

In April of Breemersch was placed on conditions for a number of firearm offences after a previous execution of a search warrant at his home.

Breemersch was detained in custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.
