An RCMP officer is facing charges after and investigation into the unsafe storage of a firearm while the officer was off-duty.
The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba began looking into the allegation in mid May of this year and has concluded that there are reasonable grounds to believe offences occurred under the Criminal Code.
Cst Christopher Leroux was issued a summons for his alleged involvement to appear in court on November 23, 2021, to answer to charges for unsafe storage of a firearm and mischief.
