A Manitoba RCMP officer is facing assault charges after incidents that occurred in 2017 and 2018.
Police say that on December 11, 2018, the Roblin RCMP Detachment Commander was told from a third party about an alleged assault on an adult female from eastern Saskatchewan. The third party claimed the alleged offender was stationed at the Roblin detachment.
RCMP began an immediate investigation into the allegations and on June 6,
Constable Jason Kitzel will appear in court on July 18,
Although Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit was notified they decided allow the RCMP to investigate the matter and not assert jurisdiction.Share Post |
