The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) has laid charges against an RCMP officer who allegedly committed a number of driving offences while on duty.
According to the IIU, the driving infractions occurred on January 8, 2021, on Highway 83. He has been issued a summons for Speeding, Fail to stop at a Stop Sign and Fail to Signal Changes of lane in contravention to the Highway Traffic Act.
