An RCMP officer is facing driving offence charges following an Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) investigation following a June 2023, officer-involved collision.
The incident happened at the intersection of Saskatchewan Avenue and Elm Street in Portage la Prairie on June 30. The IIU assumed conduct of the investigation that same day.
Constable Rawanjot Pandher has been charged for his alleged involvement with failure to drive with due regard to safety contrary to Sec. 106(4) of the Highway Traffic Act.
