Public invited to the funeral of RCMP Cst. Allan Poapst

The RCMP is inviting the public to pay their respects at the regimental funeral of Cst. Allan Poapst on Friday, December 20, 2019.

Poapst was killed when a vehicle crossed the median on the Perimeter Highway on Friday, December 13, 2019, and collided with his police vehicle.

The event will be held at Bell MTS Place with doors opening at 10:00 am. The service begins at 11:00 am

Guests are asked to be seated by 10:45 am.

RCMP say that standard venue security will be in place requiring all guests to pass through metal detectors before going into the venue.
